I’m Jordan, a nineteen-year-old from the great state of Texas. I’m not quite sure what I’m supposed to write about myself that would cause you to like me.
SO. much. pressure.
The two biggest parts of my life are my faith and my man, and I’m sure I will write a lot about those two.
But, here’s my ramble (as if it hasn’t already begun):
While most girls were dreaming of their wedding day, I dreamt of the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the Northern Lights. If you were to ask me a year ago what kind of dreams I had for my life, I wouldn’t have even hesitated to tell you what all of my dreams encompassed: traveling. I dreamed, planned, worked, saved, and dreamed some more about the traveling adventures that I was sure were ahead.
Enter: Thomas. The man of my dreams, love of my life, and greatest man I know. As I got to know him, my dreams shifted from “Where do I want to go?” to “Who do I want to go with?” My dreams of travel and adventure were swapped with dreams of crying babies, sticky kisses, and, well… Thomas. At the age of eighteen, my Pinterest account switched from How to Travel Iceland Alone with $20 to Top Tips for a Summer Wedding. After a mere six months of dating, we were married on June 25th, 2016. Marrying him is the greatest decision I’ve ever made. Now, we dream of traveling together, among many other things, and I hope that in the future, I’ll be able to post some super cool travel posts.
Although, there’s much more to me than a desire to travel. All in all, I’m just a simple southern girl who loves Jesus, big hair, pretty words, and Bluebell Ice cream. I’m passionate about books (must have the perfect font and page texture and spacing and… swoon), mugs, tea, and all things nerdy. Yes, I can quote Star Wars. And Lord of the Rings. And the Hobbit. And, I’ll stop now.
Here’s my first blog post; I feel as if I explain who I am much more clearly there.
I’m not sure if I filled this out correctly, or gave enough information, or any information anyone would care to know about a stranger, but I’ll try to improve.
Most importantly, I’m looking forward to having a little place on the internet that’s mine to share little snippets of my life with. That super cute shirt I found for $9 the other day? Expect all the deats. My first positive pregnancy test? I’ll definitely need a place ASHFIHUFGHFIHFHWO OMGGGGGG for that one when that day comes. And a place to share all my cute baby pictures in the future.
All the precious moments life gives to document and look back on in the years to come?
That will be priceless, and that’s why I’m here.
I hope that we can be friends! Friends share their coffee, btw. (hint)
